About me and my passion for cars

I'm 21. i grew up around cars just about my whole life. i was either tearing them down or putting them together. I rebuilt my first engine with my dad when i was 12. we rebuilt a 350 big block for his 1990 suburban. I still try to learn more about them everyday.I have found the best way to learn is to do it hands on because you can't learn how to work on a vehicle by always listening. I work in a O'REILLYS auto parts store. So i learn more as people come in to fix their cars. haha. I'm currently in the process of building a 1997 ford mustang. 3.8. I'm hoping to do something big with it since anyone can go out and buy a nice V8 and it be fast. haha My dad and my father in law has been the biggest influence on me when it comes to cars. Plus my wife loves them also and she is big on mustangs so she has taught me a couple things about these cars. I am working on going to take my ASE test maybe in the spring i need to o more studying.
