So took the time to actually get it to the local rock quarry. The guys there are great and let me bring my rides and rods down to shoot. I sent the new pics and my story to Chevy Classics, where I am the Arkansas State Rep and he said he had no idea when it might run but that it WOULD! YEAH!!!

I am excited. Got the car along with my 78 LT Camaro in a small part of All Chevy magazine, back in 1994. My car and the camera quality has improved SO much in that amount of time. Also, back then you had to physically mail real PICTURES in to an address and then just get the mag to see if you made it. Funny thing is, I just happened to be at the local Harp's one day when I opened All Chevy and there were my CARS!! It was SO exciting. Back then that was the only mag I sent my pics too even though I read Hot Rod and some other ones.

As some of you may know, if you have a 1978 Z-28, the emblems are a ONE YEAR only have for years not been reproduced. Same goes for the lower grille. You could get the upper grille for $20 or so, but only if you could find a used OEM grille, could you go ahead and complete the front of your car. That is why you see so many 78's without emblems and ALL of the late 78's and 79's without the lower grille (unless of course the original piece is still intact).

Well, lo and behold GM is FINALLY reproducing ALL of these pieces and I have ordered each of them. I have my emblems in and they look fantastic and the lower grill installed. Since the front is looking so good, I decided to go ahead and purchase the new upper grill to match for another $3o with free shipping.

When I get everything on, I then need to do a photo shoot and try to get it in a few mags. Under $200 is making a HUGE difference in the front and rear of my car!

Been working and buying pieces for my 56 Pan for almost 3 years now. Have had several set backs, was going to move and bought another project. Getting closer. Can't wait to get it done!
