Firebird hood to Trans am shaker hood

Well, I have a Formula twin scoop hood on my 1970 Firebird right now, but i just bought a flat firebird hood. I also have a shaker scoop. I want to cut a hole in my flat hood so i can put the shaker on and have it pop through like the original trans am hood, but i don't know how to get the measurements, i need some kind of template or something. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! Maybe you have a 70-76 trans am hood that you could make me a template of. I would appreciate any help.
