About me and my passion for cars
My dad was always a big muscle car fan and I was too growing up. He had a fully re-done 1969 Dodge Charger with a heavily built 440. I used to go to Mopar gatherings and such, where I learned to appreciate the sport compact cars. Back in 2004 I went to a Mopar meet in Muncie Indiana where I watched an 11 second Hemi powered 'cuda lose to an SRT-4. I started talking to the guy that owned the SRT-4 and he was telling me about how it is his daily driver and he regularly gets over 25mpg while driving. From then on out I have been sold on the small engine performance vehicles, primarily those made by GM. I have respect for all makes and models as long as they are done tastefully, anything can built into anything, it just takes time and patience.
I have owned quite a few cars for only being 21. I was given a 1983 Pontiac 6000STE when I was 16. I drove this car far harder than it ever needed to be driven. The car was driven to the junkyard with over 260k miles on it after suffering under 6 months of my abuse and being diagnosed with a blown head gasket.
My next car was a 1986 Chevy Cavalier Z24 Hatchback. I bought the car from a friend and co-worker, and I liked the car for what it was. The car had a few spots of surface rust that I repaired, and after installing a cowl induction hood off of an 87 Z24 coupe, I painted it black with silver ground effects and hood scoops. I sold the car to someone I went to school with, and he totaled it very shortly after.
Then I bought a 00 Cavalier with the horrid 2200 OHV engine in base trim with no options. I was young and "riced" this car out with a can muffler and generic, poorly fitting cold air intake. I traded it in at the car lot I detailed for my next car.
The 95 Camaro with a 3.4 V6. The car was fun and nice looking, it was just slower than any F-body should ever be. I made tons and tons of plans for it, ranging from a 3400 top-end swap and f/i, all the way to the far too costly LS-1 swap. All that I ever did to it was put a custom dual exhaust and rigged air intake system on it before I traded it in.
My first ever brand new car. 2006 Chevy Cobalt LT. The car was loaded and I took excellent care of it. I had the wheels I wanted picked out, the springs, header, exhaust etc. Unfortunately on March 10th of 2007 I totaled it. It was a really sickening feeling to know that I destroyed a with only 13k on it, but I have moved on.

My 1986 Cavalier Z24 Hatchback. I added a cowl induction hood and custom paint. It was a very nice car with quite a bit of potential (i.e. turbo 3400 /5 speed swap)
