[img]First Car Show We went to our first show last Sunday and wasn't it fine to see everyone again. They had a good crowd in Waldoboro even with the cold and wind - about 250 vehicles. Beautiful ride up and back without any set backs. Super unleaded is ranging from $3.29 a gal around home to $3.59 in a few places we passed on the way - cheaped was in Lewiston at $3.07 (that's where we topped off!)
If anyone is up in our area over the summer and want to meet up somewhere, give us a shout! We're always out and about at local shows!
Well went junk yard hunting and found some bolts and washers for our girl. Sent them to Gardner Westcott to be cleaned and chromed last week. Need to replace the headlight covers and find a chrome cover for our power steering unit - think we can get that from Kirban as many Grand National parts are interchangable with Montes of the same year.
I'm thumbing through the seed catalogs and Tom is tinking CAR SHOWS! So ordered a new hood insulator from Mike's Montes (FYI if you haven;t done business with those folks before, you should give them a try). Also ordered detailing "stuff" from Griots Garage. So now we're all set right? Nope, he's still looking at his Chevy magazines trying to find something different. Oh well, as the world turns :-)
