I'm sad to say that i had to sell my truck...and im only getting 1700 dollars out of it. But ive gotta do what ive gotta do. My GF Left me i cant get another job im behind on bills. I'm gonna miss her. and im still not getting the Javelin. and i might not have a place to live either so i may not be back on for a while.

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the help. I got all of the info i needed about the 73 Javelin. and once i check the Casting number on the block i will figure out if its all original. Thank you again.

Im looking for a zz4 350 block and an edelbrock performer Multipoint injection intake manifold kit with the EGR upgrade. Its edelbrock part number 3505 if you happen to run across anything let me know. Hope to have a nice start to the engine next summer and have her fully built the summer after.

im torn between the thrush glass pack and a flow tech glass pack thats a lil more expensive. Thoughts? This is just temporary until i buy or design a complete new system.

My tail pipes are rusted all to hell and are becoming a pain in the neck. Would it hurt to rip them off? Im leaving the muffler on. Once i get money im replacing all the exhaust with either stainless piping or galvanized steel.ad having my headers ceramic coated.

Ok. I just finished primering the bed sides and i did a little spot priming. Will post pics in the next week. I'm getting very weak fire so i just ordered a mallory distributor cap and MSD street fire coil. Shes still not running and im not sure why. I changed out the throttle body because i think that my fuel pressure regulator went out. So she was dumping fuel. I already installed new autolite spark plugs and inexpensive wires for now. (I have nice a nice MSD spark plugwire kit i just have to find it. LOL) Will have bed finished next weekend. (Thanks dad)

Almost forgot. Amanda helped me with primering the bed and her side was better than mine. I'm man enough to admit it. LOL





On a personal note i just got hired on full time at work so ill have so extra cash to throw at the beast.

And i want to thank everybody on here for the encouragement to push through and keep her.

Ok i finally got her running the other night. After all my hard work and hours put into her it was one simple thing. All i had to do that i didnt was manually turn the crank. I got her at top dead center and my harmonic balancer was off so i had to take a 5/8's socket and turn it til the timing gash was lined up with the tab. I also replaced my old spark plugs with new autolite .035 gapped spark plugs and new wires.

On the down side ive got to take my oil pan off and religgn it and replace the fron main seal because ive got an oil leak the size of niagra falls. On the bright side however i can do that oil change ive been thinking about.

I want to thank all who helped me off of here but especially FriedGreenTmater who walked me through many steps and did alot of troubleshooting for me.

My truck is finally up and running again. Its still has the same problem though. I replaced the IDLE AIR CONTROL sensor my shif solenoids are good but when i take off its very very sluggish and rough. Im going to run a new diagnositc check for additional codes. Any ideas. and what does the TCC sensor do? Now it also seems that my alternator is bad, could that be a source of my problem. Somebody also told me that it could be my thermostat since thats out of my old engine. (ZZ4 350 MPFI runnin about 525 HP) or my Mass Air Flow Sensor. I dont have all my vaccum lines hooked up either. any of them actually.

Im going friday to pick up an LT1 out of a 1994 Buick RoadMaster. I know its not up to corvette specs of the same year. What are the diffrences? Did the vettes have aluminum heads. Can i buy the computer out of a corvette? Whats are all the diffrences? I want to get similar power. What are some easy upgrades?

Can i keep my shorty headers that i have on the stock 350? What can i do about the LT1's having bad problems with the distributor?

Trans needs Rebuilt. Any questions just ask. Exhaust is done. Headers are on. Let me know what you have if interested. Let your friends know. Dont want to get rid of it. Cant afford to have trans rebuilt. If you know anybody that could do it for an angine a trans and a lil cash let me know. 350 and 4l60E both need rebuilt. 350 Runs but needs gaskets and rinngs. 4 bolt main came out of a 1989 GMC Sierra 1500 Ext. Cab
