Just got back from Kustom Kars with Joey Speed, where he adjusted the carb. After 3 carb's. later... Sherri has never ran better!! In the process of replacing the worn transmission with a rebuilt one, changing the distributor [again] and replacing the battery. I'll keep you informed. Love to all.

Hi everyone... Happy Mother's Day to all those wonderful mother's today !!
I spent the morning sitting around the USA Flea Market in Port Richey, Florida showing off the Trans-Am and enjoying this fantastic day !! Loved every minute of it. The car won top 30.

5-2-2011. Putting the rebuilt 403 back under the hood today!!
Adding a new power steering pump and alternator, with a complete exhaust system. Then she should be ready to roll !!

My WS4 Trans-Am 403 Engine, (that was stock and original) spun a main bearing. So I decided to rebuild. Kept and re-used original heads. The heads have been ported and polished.
Melling high output oil pump, all new Clevite 77 rod bearings and main bearings. Stock pistons but with a set of chrome rings. New fuel pump, power steering pump. Painted and some detailing.

Got the block back from Scotty's Speedshop in Spring Hill and painted it GM Blue. Got a new Crank Shaft, going to install by end of week.

Well... got the 403 Engine out last night !! Came out with the transmission as smooth as butter. After opening her up discovered she had spun a bearing on the 8th Cylinder.

I have currently begun taking apart the Oldsmobile 403 engine so I can take out to rebuild. Do not worry... I will make sure to put Sherri on life-support system while her engine is sitting in the garage to the side. While I was hauling *%# on I-75 toward Ocala I believe she threw a rod. I immediately got sick to my stomach, pulled over and hurled. But do not worry for Sherri, she will be back on her four aggressive steel belted radial's in no time.
