About me and my passion for cars

As a child always had a passion for cars.I remember counting how many Stangs,Mopars,Camaros,Gremlins, etc.. going down the road when we use to go camping to OC,Md.Mopars were my Favorite.Owned many collector cars.Due to complications,finding a trust worthy mechanic & a wallet they slipped away.The 1971 AMC AMX Javelin 401 (Scarlett) became my Engagement Ring 3 yrs ago.Saw this car roar down the road a few times.I met the owner Flywheel401 (also posted to this site).He had owned car 15 yrs.For 13 years I was his assistance.He opened the gates to my mechanic skills.Now I find myself takin on where he left off.Wish to further my skills.For 10 years I worked for Beechers Salvage Yard,Fayetteville, Pa.I had no problem strpping them down.It was putting back together,LOL..Went to our local Franklin County Vo Tech Adult Classes in Pa.Took Small Engine Repair,Auto Mechanics,& Auto Body.I took my 88 Dodge Raider to shop.Worked in the Salvage Yard, just happen to be the parts I needed.Worked my little ass off for the parts. Daughters accident but she wasnt at fault & collects the insurance check.Did I get paid.No.I'd do it over & over again for her & my son,Matt with his 2 68 Chevy Trucks. Learning about the AMX & getting her back to speed has been a great challenge.Im not giving up.Wasnt kidding when I said Im going to know this car inside & out.I do alot of work myself with some asst.What a learning experiance.Will contiune on.In time (yrs from now) will hand keys to my Daughter Lauren.A Promise I made to Flywheel (Bill) He" LOVED " her like she was his own,well soon to be Step-Daughter & Bill met the Heavens on her Birthday in My Arms Very Peacefully in Our Home.She & I together under the hood gets things done.Wish I had a Garage.Its been my Driveway for years.Rules & Regulations,NO CAR REPAIRS !! My Driveway has seen many Motor Jobs.Computor was hacked,lost everything.So im back behind the wheel again doing this trial run once again.Thanks to all for gearing me on with road side assistance...
