About Runawaychair’s Garage
About me and my passion for cars
My passion for cars started in 1968 with my first Hot Wheels. I haven't been the same since. I built the craziest car models - Tom Daniel's, Zingers, Dave "BIG" Deal, etc. Went to the opening of Road Atlanta in '69, drag races in Commerce, stock cars at A.I.R. (now A.M.S.). I've gone to uncounted indoor shows and rod runs. I worked for a custom vans company - Godfather Vans - in the late '70s. Built and raced a 302 powered '63 Falcon Sprint. Restored a '74 Jag XJ-6, ground up. Restored then lowered a '69 Coupe de Ville. I've drawn freaked-out cars all along. Still do. Visit this site: -> http://www.mo...hp?albumid=19
My first car
My folks gave me an Opel Kadette in '73 when I was 14. Learned to drive on gravel roads.
Car I wish I still had
1969 Coupe de Ville
My dream car
One of the Sarge's championship top fuel dragsters - maybe 2005?
