Seeing as the car was a 1500S model due to the 1.5 liter engine I figured a badge update was in order to represent the 2.0 liter engine better.

My best time of the day was 51.011 and I am still crap around the corners. Raw time I was tied for 11th out of 95 entrys. In PAX I was 16th. Not bad for a car that was put on the road a couple days before and a driver with lots of room for improvement.

In 2010 I started Auto-crossing my other 86 Si. I found that the sunroof + helmet are not working to well for me. By change the person that bought my 84 1500S called wanting to sell it back to me. No all of the go/stop/turn fast parts have been moved.

I'm still wanting this car as a daily driver with many options. I hope to get it setup with a D16Y8 or maybe the D16Z6. I really want another OBD-2 swap. I have the Hasport D-series mounts already. I want all of my optional parts on this car. (EDM lights, headlight wipers, JDM corners, civic spoiler, 1986 Integra F1 edition rims, cargo cover, AC, keyless entry, cruise control) I even want power windows if I can get a set of the JDM optional ones for this chassis.

But for not the car is in pieces and much of is Si fuel system was moved to the 84. In fact, if I can find a rust free 86 Si shell in the meantime I may just get rid of this one but use all of its parts in the other one.

Got an autocross race this weekend and since there is no telling when I'll have the funds to finish CI2-VIC I decided to put some the the parts for that car on this one. Major parts being the Medievil Pro dampener set. I do plan to remove them later when the other car is ready, or see if I can get another set, but at $1200 a set I think I'll just move them.

This does move this car from G-stock to ST class, but not a big worry as I don't have the skill or tires to compete, I enjoy pushing the car though that that is the proper place to do it.

I drove to a remote work site and when I got home noticed I'd been 440 miles since my last gas fill, so I filled it and only needed 9.5 gallons. Getting about 46 MPG on that tank. This is more than normal, but was more highway than normal with the work trip and the pick-n-pull trip Saturday. Must have been the right weather too, been in the low 70s. Also, I normally run the recommended 26PSI in my tires but upped it to 30 on the pick-n-pull trip incase I got some heavy parts in the back. I've gotten 42MPG with normal pressure and a little more city mixed it, but 46 is my new record for a tank.

Great weather today. Drove out to pick-n-pull with a friend. Not much for me there, but pulling parts for my mom's truck got me in the mode to work on my car. Replaced a couple interior pieces with some extras I had around in better condition.

Monday night while driving father-in-law to work a poor excuss of a driver pulled her SUV right infront of the Pruis I was driving. So far docs say I have a broken leg, messed up neck. But, I have more follow ups and will see what they find. Can't work on any of my cars now though.

Well, I got all of the needed parts from an Integra and added cruise. Interior changes almost the same as the B20 hatch's but the master switch in this one is not the Integra switch, I got one from Japan that fits the dash right and was in either a 3G Civic or 1G CRX.

I spent the last of my spare cash get some parts that I can't afford to install. Selling the Accord for the money though.

What did I get that I can't install myself you ask. The last Civic Si roof from Honda (the whole roof from the windshield to the hatch), a perfect windshield (and all install related parts for this) and a new set of shocks/struts with rear springs (TEINs).

Not sure how long she'll be off the road, but I've dropped the registration to save some money since I have no idea when. I miss driving her, but driving her looking like crap was not doing her any good either. This time body work will be complete, no keys (thanks to JDM gas door and Integra rear door handles) and most important to me, no more leaks!!

I been slowly stripping the car down for body and paint. Got the engine, tranny out and such. While the tranny is out I'm going to swap that LS 5th gear set into it to drop my engine rpm at 60mph from about 3400 to about 2800 while in 5th.

our not seen the last of this car, I will never give up finishing it, I just want it to actually be done this time, not a 1 year road test of the swap.

I got the car back on the road Dec 31st last year. Been driving around with town and such without problems so I decided to go on the first road trip to PA (from NC) with the car last weekend. Well the alternator died and no one had one in stock, most of them get them could get on Monday, but I had work Monday. I pushed along toward home and got about 12 miles from home before the car finally shut down once the battery was under 6.5V.

Plan is to buy a new alternator to get it on the road now, and also a rebuilt kit for the current alternator so that I can carry one on road trips since I know that no one stocks them anymore.

I put the car up for sale Mar `08 and still have not sold it. I don't understand it. Eventually I may get the time to fix it around the other projects then I'll just keep the car as a daily driver again.

To bad the wife didn't dodge it. Squirrel is now dead and it broke some of those under body clips that hold the plastic under body on. Right tire would just rub it to on a hard left turn. $13.xx in new clips and all is good as new.

I appears as though at least one of the Hasport mounts is breaking down. Found that the left front mount as started turning to goo and is tripping from under the car.

Found that the master cylinder has been leaking and caused a trail of corrosion down the firewall and onto the sub frame. So I'm working on that corrosion and have the sub frame of and torn down so that I can repaint and under coat that area of the car. Still need to get a new brake booster, but it is not in the funds right now.

Engine has had some oil leak since I bought the car and I can't stand that, so I've bought a bunch of stuff from Honda and put the car in the garage. Pulling the engine/tranny and replacing the seals and while I'm there the timing belt, water pump, fuel filter and thermostat among other things.

I got my hands on an OEM muffler that still had the chrome tips and installed that on the car. Much quieter, I like it. But, the name "LawnMower" will remain since that was the name I choose.

Also got proper fitting speakers installed so that I can roll the windows down all the way.

I finished putting the car together enough to drive her Thursday night at about midnight, Friday, Sept 21st, I left home for PA. I had no problems getting there or home on Sunday. Car drove incredible well. The engine is a bit more than I had thought it would be for the car, so I'm already thinking of getting another one and just doing a Black Top D16 swap with many of the same add-ons that this project got. My daughter wants a 3G Civic and I thought this one would be it, but this one is too much for a first car IMO.

Welded rear sway bar is a no go for me due to the street I live on having an odd 1 foot drop as you turn onto it, the welded bar just causes problems with this. The way the weigh of the car ends up on the 2 wheels at opposite corners causes the outer tube of the sway bar to twist out of the proper setting under the bolts. I plan on getting the SE bar from the Acura dealer sometime this winter.

The cruise control is great when you can find a speed that it is not surging at. System was not made for that much torque in this little a car. I hope to be able to add a restriction to some of the purge ports of the actuator to help it find those sweet spots on the accelerator instead of going pass it all the time.

Tranny is giving out for some reason. I now need to replace or rebuilt it. With as busy as things have been, replacing it is sounding like the best option. So for now I'll be using the wife's Toyota.

My car has had the same tint on it since the day I bought 01/02 and has passed inspection every year. This time they said no because it is reading too dark. 35% is the limit where I live. The tint was installed too good to remove it and I really like it how it is. So know I have to do the same thing as I had to do with the civic, remove all the glass except the windshield for inspections. Problem, the Civic's rear window was on an easy to removed hatch and the Accords is not. Guess I'll be paying a glass shop to removed the rear window, drive up the road get inspected and go back to get it reinstalled. In the meantime I guess I may have to start driving the Olds.
