- Description: I had owned a camaro early on in my life, an 81 Berlinetta with a built up 305. I thought that car was cool when i owned it.
in 1992, i was looking for a 4x4 "toy". While i had been looking for several months, i had driven past this 10th TA twice a day for 6 months without giving it much notice. I twas sitting at a Kenworth Dealership in Palm Beach County, FL. 1 day i decided to stop and look at it. it was a really nice car, and it sparked interest. I went in and asked if it was for sale. Well, 30 min later the owner came out and said it was, but it had been spoken for. DAMMMMMIT, he also said the guy gave him $ to hold it but hadnt heard from in a few weeks. We agreed to allow the seller to call the potential buyer, which he did. the buyer had been in the hospital, and no longer could afford to purchase. Well 3 days later i drove it home. I had no idea of the meaning behind the 10th Ann thing. Loved it so much, i drove it very day from Palm Beach to Ft Lauderdale for 2 years. I decide to move to MS, and then start to learn its history.
Well it has been appreciated more since i figured out what it really was. I did screw up and sold it to a "friend". Luckily it ended back at home where it belonged about a year and a half later. wooowee, i lucked out.
It has been 13 years now, and it is having a facelift!!! Long over due, it was painted sometime in the lat '80's and age started to take its toll. It will be out sometime soon and better then ever. - By: tamatt79
