- Description: On June 16th, the Flying Conestogas in cooperation with the EAA Young Eagles Program, held an all day event at the Beatrice Airport. Events included a fun run held by the Great Plains Region Porsche Club of America, a luncheon for the public, and free flights for 53 youth through the Young Eagles program. The was a perfect day to be flying. Clear skys and calm air. There was a large attendance by the public to see our beautiful airport. All in all, a very successful event and we are talking about making this an annual event. Thanks to all the Conestoga members who helped make this such a fun day.
