Apr 15, 2008 at 9:22 pm: i have been here its an old ferry crossing on the Byo Macon at Kendricks ferry La. i used to swim off this ferry when i was a child
the lane was lined with maple trees and in the fall it looked just as you have painted it

Apr 2, 2008 at 11:31 pm: Very detailed painting, you can almost imagine being there. Went to Whistler's exibit at the National Gallery of Art in D.C. in 95, some of the paintings he did were so life-like you felt as if the subject was through a window. You captured that in this. Look at it long enough and the leaves move, (course might be me sniffing too many gas fumes.) Great

Feb 3, 2008 at 11:17 am: I've painted this out of my dreams and part also froman area close by..I changed somethings in the painting. This painting has sold 2 in 12x14 ....and 3 times in 14x16 now. It also received a second place ribbon. Funny strange thing, I painted it when my arms were so stiff from arthritis , so I taped the brush to my arm brace that straightens my fingers.. LOL not too shabby for a bad feeling day.
