Went to Sturgis 2010!! Rode the Ducati all 302 miles there and 302 miles back, put another 200 on while we were there. I tell you what, that bike wasn't made for a 6'3" guy to ride it 800 miles in 3 days!! Had a ton of fun while we were there though. Everyone has to come back with proof they went, my proof is a $120.00 exhibition ticket!! Me and a buddy of mine had just went on a ride to Rapid City and back. We took the back roads there and were flying past Harleys like they were parked! I lost my right mirror along the way. When we get back to Sturgis we were feeling untouchable and when we had to stop at the last light before our campground, we knew it was on! I'm on the left and when the light changed green, we both lifted the front tire we were on it so hard. My bike is faster off the line than my buddy's Kawi ZX-10, so it wasn't a surprise when I pulled away, but out of the corner of my eye I see he lets off it. I look to where my right mirror used to be, and of course I had just lost it 50 miles ago, so I look in the left mirror and see the cops behind us. OOPS! Another one for the trophy case!!
