1982 Honda Magna 700 SE (Magna)
Last updated Aug 12, 2009
Ready to head out for adventure ! St.Louis once, Nashville twice, Evansville twice, Ozark Mountain Trail and Lake of the Ozarks once, all around Kentucky and Barkley lakes, Paris, TN, Natchez Trace Trail, and many times to work and friends 36000 miles rack up before I sold her for more than I purchased her for.
Honda 700 Magna SE, DOHC, 700cc, water cooled, five speed transmission, disc brakes, ,top speed 125; would do more but the aerodynamics were dangerous, at my top speed of 125 she was floating off the ground.
Crash bar was a factory option.
Didn't take long to want a fairing, and with a windshield for those long hauls. Got tired of those big bug bruises...it was real sporty looking and really set off the bike, blended in great. I have no pic's with it on though, windshield was low but done the job. Other than black leather saddle bags, for the weekend rides I use to take, is all that was ever added, except for the sissy bar and crash bar with front pegs that were included when I purchased the bike.
