About
Purchased this 1991 Flhtcu which is an UltraClassic ElectroGlide from Barnette's Harley in West Texas. Pure stock Road Couch, All the bells and whistles.
While putting along at 55mph one night, I hit a herd of Black Angus Cattle ...BAAAMMMM!!!!! which totaled my bike and almost killed me. 2 days after the demise of my sled, I was out in the shop bandaids and all, stripping off the bent sheet metal and writing down parts to replace. Desided to rebuild the engine and customize the sled to make it my way not Harley's.
took 4 months to rebuild everything so I decided to break it in on the way to Maine with my little brother. took 15 days to make it round trip back to Arizona but the ride was the best and so were the stories!
Specs
1100 lbs Fully Dressed with me on it., 8 Feet long, been 92 mph with more throttle to go.......safety first, coffin last!
1340 Cu.in.
Factory Options
no dealer or mechanic ever touched this sled since it rolled off the showroom floor.
Mods
Twintec Singlefire Ignition, Manley Street Master Racing Valves and Guides, Andrews Midrange High lobe Cam, Andrews Adjustable Chromoly pushrods, S&S stainless steel oil gear, Wisco Racing Pistons, Paughco Dual exhaust, Black w/Pearl Ghost Flame paint. ApeHanger Bars, Homemade Diamond Plate foot boards and pedals, I run a Suicide foot Clutch and Jockey shifter on occasion. I can change this sled from Chopper to Full Dress Electro Glide in less than 4 hrs. Changed from belt rear drive to chain, so I can eat rocks on dirt roads!
