1996 Harley Davidson Softail Custom Chrome (Softail Sally)
Last updated Dec 16, 2008
I bought this scooter new in 1996, ordered from our local Harley dealer at that time. Her and I have logged lots of quality miles all around Texas, and she's been to Sturgis about 6 times! I keep changing her up every couple of years, but I think I've got her about right for now. With this custom paint job, 6 gallon fat bobs, aftermarket lights, and lots of Harley custom parts, she really makes a statement going down the road!
Engine is a mostly stock Harley Evo. 80 cubic inch, or 1340 cc's. Probably about 75 HP with the current mods!
Mods include an EV-27 cam, Dyna 2000 ignition module, Python III staggard Dual Exhaust, Modified CV Carb, and Screaming Eagle air Cleaner system. The paint scheme is called "MayDay"! It looks like an old fighter plane all shot up and going down in flames! Tanks are Dennis Kirk 6 gallon fat bobs, lighting from Kuryuken, and chrome accessorys from Harley Davidson!
