Here’s my truck project over 5 years with little or no money I have close to 6000.00 in to it. Most of that is stock 292 Y block 30 over machine work by Valley balancing also re tube drive line Valley balancing , rebuilt three speed tran, all new king pins new tie rod ends new front shocks brakes wheel cylinders air shocks rear with headers duel chrome mufflers dump out right behind cab with I gutted some Harley mufflers I reveres and welded coupling for tips. Rebuilt Radiator and heater core rebuilt 2 barrel carb, starter , generator all new napa hose's before all that sand blasted frame under carriage paint rust preventive treatment and painted enamel primmer and paint . I couldn;t find a 62 grill found a 64 grill in LA. on e bay right front fender e bay Florida front top beisel Canada , e. bay chrome front bumper e. bay Washington state . Radiator from Georgia state e. bay than had re-cored , replaced and relocated gas tank to rear. stock wheels sand basted and painted enamel white . and hours , hours, hours and a bunch more hours???? It didn’t happen all at once but a little bit each pay day over 5 years. I paint the step side bed after hours and hours of prep and still not right over spray and teaching my self how to paint has been costly on my part
