Procrastination at it's best

Blog post photo

Sometimes I really hate being a procrastinator. The plates on my Camaro expired at the end of June, and since it was still registered in Illinois I decided I was going to finally get the car registered as Historic in West Virginia. Well guess what, it's not almost October and I still haven't made it to the DMV. So since we had a big car show this past weekend my only solution was to do what I said I never wanted to do....make my car a trailer queen. I guess I'll have to wait and see if I will finally get the car registered before the next round of shows...next spring!

I'm a very happy camper

Blog post photo

I dropped my truck off at the shop on Tuesday to have tint installed on the driver & passenger windows, and while it was there my new Magnaflow cat back system arrived, so I had them throw that on there as well. At first I was disappointed to find out it was not what I wanted. I had wanted to have dual angle tips coming out on the back sides of the truck, what I got was dual angled tips coming out on the passenger side in front of the rear tire. The wife and I drove back over there and they held the exhaust up under the truck to show me what it would look like. After getting a visual look at the tips, I'm very glad that I didn't get the exhaust that I wanted. Now I've got a bad-a$$ looking exhaust, and a very MEAN growl coming from it. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get some pics uploaded of the new additions, and I'll try to get a audio clip as well.

New Grille & Spring Cleaning

Blog post photo

Finally found some time to install the Billet Grille and give ol' Magic a bath....hopefully I'll be able to find a decent replacement for the front ground effects now.

Take a look at the new photo album:

New Shoes

Blog post photo

Finally getting a chance to start working on my To Do List. I installed the replacement dash a couple of weeks ago, and now I just walked in from mounting the new 18" wheels onto my beast. Found one problem during the installation. The wheels have a nice looking center cap that snaps into the rim. Well the darn hub pops this cap out on both front wheels. Now I have to come up with a solution to make this look better than just that old rusty hub.

To Do List is Growing!

Blog post photo

It figures...I finally get the parts I've been waiting for and winter finally arrives. I've new wheels and a new dash pad ready to be installed and it's about 15 degrees outside, and I have no garage. Well...guess I'll have to deal with my wife getting teed off at me for keeping these parts in my office.
