I haven't been on 'Topia for over 6 months. Things have been pretty busy here with job change and the of raising a family.

I some how got my email address hacked and was locked out so I had to start a new one after 10 years of having the same email address. I just recently changed the email address with Motortopia so I can start getting updates from you guys.

Miss-Lou Motor Mafia is still going strong but with all of the new stuff going on I have little time to do daily posts like I used to.

Just wanted to remind everyone that HOMERUNS & HOTRODS is this weekend Saturday, Nov. 15th. This show is to benefit the Vidalia Lady Vikings Fastpitch Softball Program.

Well the day started out great with about 145 cars showing up for the first day of the show. We anticipate well over 200 cars judging by how well yesterday went. Rain cancelled the burnout contest and drive-in movie but we hope to have them this evening and tonight.

Today starts our annual car show and I just got my seats back and installed yesterday. The seats look great for the exception of the back seat. It has a crooked stitch that WILL be corrected once this show is over. We are hoping for a great show this year and hope the weather will be kind. Forecast calls for scattered showers through the weekend.
I will be taking pictures and video of the show so look for my posts coming soon. Meanwhile check out my video from our 2005 show.

Interior Work

Well our Annual show is this week and as usual I'm scrambling to get my car ready and of course work is crazy right now. Wednesday my seats should be ready. I had my front and back seats recovered. This should really finish the interior of the car at last. I still need to put in a stereo system but I'm looking for a retro look system for the car. I would like to find a modern system with 2 knobs versus the ones out these days that are so flashy and all buttons. My dash is uncut and it kills me to cut it for one of these modern systems. But I guess I will make up my mind eventually. Besides I'm perfectly content on listening to the tune of 400 screaming horses all organized in melody by my right foot.
