Cedar Falls raceway reopened July 26th with the Night Of Fire event...Packed stands and standing room only!!!
Nostalgia Top Fuel and Funny Car...Jack Wyatt's Nitro Funny Car, Jet Cars, and Arnie 'The Farmer' Beswick made for one heck of a show!
The Flashback has had better outings though as we redlit in round one...we bought back in and won a round before a bad reaction time took us out in round three to end our day.
The car's running good, the driver needs a good tune up now!

Cedar Falls Raceway was under water on the weekend of the 14th of June and the after effects are still lingering as the track is still closed for this coming July 4th weekend....Hope to resume racing at CFR soon!!!

Well, we didn't pick up the win but Iwas mildly happy with the semi-final finish.
We treed the competition the first three rounds and then lit the red-lite in the semi's.
Car was running in the 10 teen to 10 twenty range in some very bad air so that's encouraging...and the new brakes worked flawlessly!
Can't wait til next weekend!!

After struggling to hit the 10.20's last season our first three passes of '08 netted us a 10.26 / 10.27 / 10.28

We're working out a five or six race schedule for the 2008 Midwest Open Comp Series with the races to be held at Cedar Falls Raceway (www.cfraceway.com)
The Track Manager and I are working out the days to hold them, shooting for a day in April, June, July, August, and September...looking for Saturday's that will work.
I'll post them as soon as they are confirmed.
