YOU’RE INVITED to attend the Midwest’s Original Blast from the Past. . .spread the word!!

As part of our 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Midwest's Largest Cruise Night, GRAFFITI NIGHT will be returning to it's roots at Michael's Drive-In from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009.
This event, has attracted as many as 600 plus rods, customs, muscle cars and classic vehicles from six states returns to where it began to commemorate 25 years of Cruisin' the "Widest Main Street in the U.S.A."
There is no entry fee, no judging, no hassles, just music, food and fun like the good 'ol days.
GRAFFITI NIGHT moved to downtown Onawa in 1993 because we were running out of room, but this year it will be back at Michael's with the Cruise/Parade beginning around 8:30 p.m. Like in years past, residents and spectators from the Tri-State area will be invited to line the streets and watch all the particpants cruise. . .
The only thing that we ask, and in the name of safety, is that you obey normal traffic laws and refrain from extensive burn-outs and exhibitionist driving with excessive speed.
We invite EVERYONE who has ever cruised Onawa to return for this special celebration!!

Engines and Parts Pilfered from Pro Line


Your Agent spoke yesterday with turbo guru Steve Petty (left) of Pro Line Race Engines in Woodstock, GA, who confirmed the Pro Line shop was broken into the night before and thieves escaped with three complete engines and several major racing components. Unfortunately, it appears whoever commited this crime knew exactly what they were going after, which is particularly disheartening to your Agent.

Pro Line, co-owned by Eric Dillard and Doug Patton, is in the process of gearing up for the 2009 ADRL tour as engine provider to Pro Extreme racer Grant McCrary and Petty said they also are working on their own turbocharged PX entry to debut later this year in the hands of Tim Lynch. Hopefully, this won't prove to be too much of a setback to their efforts.

Below is an inventory of the missing pieces and your Agent encourages anyone with information about this crime to call Dillard at (770) 516-0745.

Cedar Falls raceway reopened July 26th with the Night Of Fire event...Packed stands and standing room only!!!
Nostalgia Top Fuel and Funny Car...Jack Wyatt's Nitro Funny Car, Jet Cars, and Arnie 'The Farmer' Beswick made for one heck of a show!
The Flashback has had better outings though as we redlit in round one...we bought back in and won a round before a bad reaction time took us out in round three to end our day.
The car's running good, the driver needs a good tune up now!

Cedar Falls Raceway was under water on the weekend of the 14th of June and the after effects are still lingering as the track is still closed for this coming July 4th weekend....Hope to resume racing at CFR soon!!!

Well, we didn't pick up the win but Iwas mildly happy with the semi-final finish.
We treed the competition the first three rounds and then lit the red-lite in the semi's.
Car was running in the 10 teen to 10 twenty range in some very bad air so that's encouraging...and the new brakes worked flawlessly!
Can't wait til next weekend!!

We're working out a five or six race schedule for the 2008 Midwest Open Comp Series with the races to be held at Cedar Falls Raceway (www.cfraceway.com)
The Track Manager and I are working out the days to hold them, shooting for a day in April, June, July, August, and September...looking for Saturday's that will work.
I'll post them as soon as they are confirmed.
