300 Dash Installation

This was not a fun project but I love the results. Had my friend Ron drive over from Alabama not only to deliever the parts but also assisted with the installation. Could not have done it without him, at least the installation. I removed the old dash while he was in route and that was not hard just a PITA.

RB1 Arrival

Well I now have the RB1 installed in the car once again. Just awaiting the arrival of the 6 disc in dash CD changer now as the one that I had stop working after the new dash installed. Must have gotten pushed around with all the other equipment and some how messed up the elevator inside.

Well I spent this Sunday with my buddy Ron (Ronbo from the DodgeIntrepid.net website). Not only did this guy drive 4 hours to bring me the parts but he also spent 6 hours helping me get everthing installed and tested prior to leaving. His help was invaluable and knowledge of the wiring of the car help the whole thing go really smooth. As you can see by the pictures this is not a easy mod to complete.

So I finally got my set of 300M mirrors and some 300M door harness from my buddy Ron. I got them installed and everything hooked up and I got to tell you they look great on the car.

Recently acquired a RB1 for the car and I am loving it. Just awaiting the arrival of the GPS antenna to get the navigation system working.

Ordered the XM Direct Connect unit from Crutchfield so now I can do away with my XM Roady and go back to a clean dash. Will also be adding a 6 disc DVD player from a 2003 Caravan.

Also this week go my new 300M Special mirrors in and will install them along with the 300M dash and 300M door harness.
