The wife had the car when it turned 450,000 miles. I was so peeved thinking I missed that milestone.

Lucky guy that I am (ask anyone LOL) she realized it and grabbed a phone pic for me!!! Thanks luv!!



Also last week finally found and painted a new hood!!

As some of you know Mnitetrain had a fatal defect shortly after returning from Carlisle necessitating an engine replacement. I am happy to report that 5,000 miles on the donor engine and I am very happy.

So, today being the end of the holiday weekend my son Ben and I had some quality time making a little bit of room in the garage and in my home "office".

I've had a pair of Kicker 12" CVR sitting out their for quite awhile with a decent Poweraccoustik amp in my "office". We got em installed today!!!




I also changed out my front door speakers for JBL GTO 0607C.

As much as I enjoy the new sounds, with everyone getting older and working more I wish we (son and I) could spend a long afternoon together more often. Thanks Ben!! Love you!

The annual Carlisle Pilgrimage is starting to take shape. With 429,000 miles I got a little bit of body work done on Mnitetrain.


Had some roof rust in windsheild channel from a previous windshield replacement so got it taken care of and new windsheild installed. Looks as good as new.

Thought by now I would have had a new hood but so far and with gas prices the way they are it will have to wait a bit more.

Best $2.00 I ever spent!! Didn't know for sure what to expect as show is advertised as "Antique" car show.
First thing I noticed--no trailers!!

Organizers might still be a little rusty or having growing pains but overall quite impressed with quality of cars on showfield.

Scott and Bobby found a "cooler" (98 degree day) garage we could use to detail Mnitetrain. Rolled 355,000 as we started work!!

352,000 miles put a fresh set of sneakers on the Mnitetrain.
4 Toyo Proxies TPT. 4 wheel alignment brought back to specs with no $urprises. See you at Carlisle!!

I won't post the mileage my last set of Toyo Proxies TPT delivered because no one would beleive it but be at Carlisle 7/6 and I'll display the receipts. Not to be confused with Proxie, or T1, thses are TPT.




Well last set went on the car at 171,000 miles.
