In this particular instance I am going to write about an upcoming event I am going to put on this summer in Mercersburg, PA. This event is like no other I have ever attempted to do. I literally am going out on a limb to put on the best damn car show in the Mid Atlantic region. Featurama 2009 is an event like no other - its the type of event we put on at every show accept we are combining EVERYTHING in one location for a Mega event attendees will talk about for years to come. We are going to do a little bit of everything. Here's the list of shows we are having:
The Quad State Tractor and Farm Exposition - This event will feature everything to do with farming from antique tractors and implements to engines used in farm operations.
The Quad State Truck and Transportation Exposition - This event is all about Truckin' From your everyday pickup to the Big Rigs that run up and down the interstate delivering your parts to your house.
The Muscle Machine Nationals - Feature the best of Ford, GM, Mopar, and AMC STOCK Muscle Cars.
The Street Machine Nationals - features the best hot rods from all eras if its modified it has a place at this show.
The Antique and Classic Car Show - This is for all antique and Classics from 1900 - 1984 these are restored and unrestored cars from all eras, that don't fit into the muscle machine or street machine show.
The Sport Compact and Import Nationals - is for the guys and girls who own Sport Compact Cars as well as those who own antique pre - 85 Import Vehicles.
and Finally the Quad State Toy Expo is all about antique toys from the 1980's back.
We are looking to do something totally different and I think we have found it with this combination of shows.
The event will also feature some competitions including: Stereo, Exhaust, Hydraulic Hop, SLOW Drag Racing, a Cash Bonanza Extravaganza with over $1000 cash and prizes to be given away every 15 minutes from noon til 4 pm, and more!
We will be awarding trophies in judged classes, we have a kids corner where your children will be watched by certified caretakers where Mom and Dad can enjoy the show! This event is a must for ANY car enthusiast and for all of you on Motortopia we will hold a get together on Friday Night for any Motortopia member all you have to do is preregister for the event and the dinner and you will be included in the Friday Night activities.More details about the Friday night event will be forth coming in the very near future so check back here or on our website www.musclecarfederation.com for more details on how you can be a part of this fantastic event.
Hope to see you all in Mercersburg, PA
Repectfully yours - Tom (tward6)

Winchester, VA: The United States Muscle Car federation based in Winchester, VA is pleased to announce the inaugural USMCF Nationals event to be held October 20, 2007 in Williamsport, MD. This is an all new event and one that is sure to be exciting for everyone. In order to take the USMCF to the next level, we are initiating the USMCF National Awards program. This new awards program is based on participation in the USMCF Nationals to be held annually in October. During this event, participants who pay the required entry fee will have their automobile judged using the USMCF approved 1000 point judging system. In this event cars will be competing against the judging sheet and not other cars in classes.
National Awards
In the first year of participation, participants can earn their Junior National Award with a total score of 950 or better. In year two, Junior award winners will compete for a Senior National award and can achieve that honor with a score of 965 or better.
Grand Nationals
After achieving a Senior National award participants are then eligible to enter into the Grand National awards program. In this competition participants will compete for the title of USMCF Grand National Award winner. In the first year of eligibility the Grand National award is up for grabs and participants must score a minimum score of 975 to be awarded the honor of Grand National winner. Once a participant has been awarded their Grand National title, that participant is then eligible to participate in the Senior Grand National program. The Senior Grand National is the highest honor to be awarded by the USMCF. The Senior Grand National award can only be achieved with a score of 990 or better.
Under the current plan only one National event will be scheduled per year however that is subject to be changed as the program grows.
Those wishing to participate in the USMCF Nationals this year MUST pre-register by mail postmarked on or before September 1, 2007. Cost for the USMCF Nationals is $25. Location: Williamsport Redman’s Club Williamsport, MD. The USMCF Nationals is open to the public. For more information please contact Tom Ward 540 664 9273

Looking for a few good pictures!

Please read: the size should be 1024x768 or at smallest 800x600 in 72 dpi. 300 dpi is great any size over 900x600 will work there. Most digital cameras over 5mp take photos larger than the above criteria, original unsized pictures work the best. These pictures MUST be copyright free. I am looking for front 3/4 angle of the car from either the left or the right similar to the one above. No straight on pictures or rear shots. I am using this for a project I am currently working on and that is what I need. I also need original stock appearing SHOW CARS no modified wheels, low riders, projects, etc. The photos must be good clear photos as well no blurry pix please. If you can help me out shoot me a PM and I will give you a regular email to send them to.
