Here is a list of the changes I've gotten done...
- Customized my door panels, they are now black with purple inserts
- Mounted my tweeters for the component set in the mirror-panel
-Hid the Pheonix Gold 6.5 components and cross-overs in the doors
-I've got 2 6.5" alpine Type-R components in my rear-deck
-a custom-console fiberglassed, waiting to be finished with the stock console.
-I've added a little bit of bass to my car via 2 12" RF-P2 subwoofers and a 760w (RMS) amplifier...
-I've got my 2 hood-vents functional
-re-ran all the stock speaker-wire with 14ga aftermarket speaker wire...
It's just me, my brother in law and a good friend Paco who's working on this, and my budget is the primary dictation in this project. Things are coming along at a steady pace. I'll have some pictures to show shortly of the work we've gotten done thus far.
Really want to emphisise how much this site is a form of creative drive for me, I see certain things on cars, or see some of these cars 'shock factor' and say to myself, wow... No matter how much money, time, or people you have working on a car, it really takes the love of the art to create something truly amazing.

SunRoof Sparkler

Got all wiring mounted, an additional toggle in my little toggle-cluster design, and demonstrated the theory and equipment. Appears mounting of the motors-gears-braces will be my primary concern. Tomorrow I'm going to see if the original sunroof-motor location can be worked out somehow... Never thought mechanical-physics would be such an issue for installs. Seen it on TV, never assumed I'd have the ambition to attempt to add any physical motion to my projects. I am taking pics as I do it, anyways, wish me luck for tomorrows attempt..

My sunroof/sparkler install is as follows..
I've got a broken sunroof, and just don't miss my T-Tops enough to get it fixed when I compare the enjoyment I'd have out of using this as a unique electronics task...
$75 (8 'pure white' leds, 1 controller, 2 motors, 6 Quarts prisms, all hardware/wiring and blue reflective tape..
I'm permanently sealing my sunroof, removing all hardware for it's functionality, and replacing the stock 'switch' with my 8-switch electronics control panel..
I'm going to mount 8 white LEDs around the edge of my sunroof, then placing 2 servos, with 180 degree (auto reverse) turning, mounting 3 quartz crystals to each... Placing blue-reflective barrier along the top of my 'headliner-slider-damnit' (which will also be my 'access' panel for construction, then hooking it all up to one of my electronics-control panel switches... With any luck a blue/white 'glisten' will rediate from the top of my car... It's an idea I thought of years ago with the T-Tops to my 300zx, just never came to fruition.. I've got the skills for this, if you have the patience I'll hopefully have a video up within a couple of weeks of it functioning... Please note I may use 2 normal motor, and slow them down.. I'm thinking just slowing 2 normal-motors down to a 30RPM speed, and mounting the crystals should produce the same 'twinkle' effect, I'm just hoping for the 'rebound' look of the servos. I've gotta visit the local RC-Airplane store before I decide on the motor assembly, I'll also try to document as much of it as possible as a few people here in town have shown alot of interest in this idea.
We'll see how this turns out, I may get a simple task (like sealing it) done, then think of something different, this is merely what I've got on paper now.
