Great Weekend for a drive

Finished the stereo install. Everything turned out as good asa I could hope for. It sounds great and I think I like it better than the stereo in my MINI. I also got the oil changed and attempted to change the rear diff oil but found that the rear cover is not the original cover and has no drain plug. Topped off the rear diff oil and I'll deal with it another day.

I did take the TR for it longest drive since I have owned this weekend. Drove it maybe 120 miles round trip to Gainesville, GA to check out a buddys new car project. Tractor ran like a dream and I can't wait until spring when I can drive it more often.

Started the stereo install this weekend. I also got the engine oil changed and everything staged to replace the rear differential oil and seal. Using the OEM paper gasket and some loctite gasket seal to try and prevent future leaks. I will be using Red Line 75w140 gear oil. I will post some pictures when I get the differential cover pulled.

I have been slowly fixing up the TR since I bought it in October. I have a blog with the work that I have done to it so far here. Planning on changing out all the fluids and sorting out a few electrical demons in the next month or two. All in all it runs great.

Some of the big projects that I want to add to the car at some time are front and rear sway bars (a factory option that my car doesn't have) and try to get my hands on a Surrey Top for the car.
