We sold the "Dam Truck" this morning. The buyer was a very nice guy from Henderson NV. it seems he is planning to fix it up and drive it. No biggie but it was kind of nice to see it going to someone that appreciates what it could easily be.

We are really enjoying our 1948 Chevy Truck "The Double Deuce" and have ordered some new items for it. I will say more when I can include some photos.

August is a very hot month here in the Las Vegas Valley. Mary and I do not get as much done as we would like. I did go to the hardware store, and the parts store yesterday. I purchased a few things we needed from the hardware store and picked up some polishing compound for the Dam Truck.

Despite the heat I thought I would start cleaning up the Dam Truck. It does need to be painted but I just want to protect what it there for now. Very hot out and I did not finish but got a good start.

Today is hair cut day and I hope to run all the way out to Harbor Freight to shop.

Mary started the day cleaning the Toyota Highlander, her daily driver. It had been a while and it needed cleaning.

I had removed the battery from the 1985 Chevy truck and charged it over night. When I placed the battery checker on it and flipped the switch to load the indicator went emmeadeatly to zero. Got to go to costco and buy a new battery tomorrow.

I forgot to mention that on Sunday at the car show I got a new Mac roller cart. It is kind of nice and I used it to cart tha battery from the 85 to the garage. I know we have other carts but one more won't hurt.

I will take our Grand daughter to the DMV in the morning and register Jacks old lincoln towncar in her name so she can use it to finish school. I will of course just give her the car but she had to get the insurance because she is working. My friend Jack passed away recently and I know he would be happy that my grand daughter is getting his old car as he adored her.
