Question of the Day: What is your favorite movie car?
May 15, 2008 | Views: 131
We love cars, and we love movies. And we REALLY love movies about cars. Some of them, like the '67 Camaro in Better Off Dead have a very special place in our memories. Some, like the Countach in The Cannonball Run were our choice of decor for our childhood bedrooms. And others, like the Blue Mobile from The Blues Brothers were just plain cool.
The folks over at Rotten Tomatoes have put together a list of the "50 Most Memorable Movie Cars" and what a list it is. It includes some of the best, like the De Lorean from Back to the Future, the Mustang from Bullitt, and the Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. But there are also some that you may not remember, such as the Oldsmobile Silhouette from Get Shorty.
So, we want to know: what is your favorite movie car of all time? Note that the car has to have appeared on the big screen, so TV-only cars like KITT and the A-Team van don't count... we'll get to them later.
Let us know in the comments! (And make sure you check out the excellent list from Rotten Tomatoes.) Oh, and we also have a lot of cool movie cars here on Motortopia too, so look for them and check them out too!

- Steve McQueen's Highland green, 1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback 390. Although, the 5th gen El Camino that Gene Hackman drove in "Enemey of the State" was responsible for getting me into liking Elkys.

- I think I was influenced the most by the 1968 Mustang Fast Back that Steve McQueen drove in bullitt. Although the black dodge he was chasing still lurks in my mind.
