Question of the Day: What's your favorite TV car?

By corsa

Cover photo of the album

Yesterday we focused on the big screen, today we'll turn our attention to the small screen.

Lots of television shows have featured or starred cars, and we have some great ones to choose from. If you look back into the 60s, you've got cars like the Batmobile, the Corvettes from Route 66, the Monkees' GTO, the Green Hornet's Black Beauty... jump into the 70s and you'll remember Starsky & Hutch's Ford Torino, Dan Tanna's '57 T-bird from Vega$, Jim Rockford's Pontiac Firebird... head into the 80s and we got Magnum P.I.'s Ferrari 308, the A-Team's GMC van, the Coyote from Hardcastle & McCormick, and of course the General Lee and KITT... the 90s brought us Dylan McKay's Porsche 356 Speedster, Nash Bridges' 'Cuda, the Viper from Viper... and now in the 2000s, we have a new KITT, and... umm... well, I can't really think of many more from this decade... unless you count all the really cool cars Chip Foose builds on Overhaulin'.

So let us know in the comments, what's your favorite car from tv?

I always wanted The Fall Guy Truck 1984 GMC pick up truck or Daisy's Jeep. Ok so I am really a 4X4 girl at heart. If it has to be a car...Nash Bridges 1971 Hemi 'Cuda convertible.

Id have to say the red Kenworth on BJ & LOBO did it 4 me! (its the main reason I drive tractor trailers for a living.

Johns Chevy truck from CHIPS and the Chevy truck from the fall guy tie for second!

The old KITT car from back in the day was hella cool with the red cyclops light (i actually had on of those back in highschool on my mini truck)

if i had to choose only one i think it would have to be the gadget mobile on the old inspector gadget cartoons....yes yes i know its not real action but to go from a minivan to that 80s style transam style with all those cool gizmos just was the coolest thing in the world to me

Boy does that take me down Memory lane, From the Monkee GTO, to Batman's Batmobile, and other great rides, thanks to George Barris, King of Kustoms. But I have to say my favorite was "Black Beauty". Watching The Green Hornet and Kato aka Bruce Lee fighting the bad guys and even a two episode with Batman, (My Fav).. I can just here the theme to The Green Hornet as I type.. I just wonder why no one has ever done a newer updated version of the Green Hornet, get Jackie Chan or Jet Li to play Kato..
