1969 Camaro chosen as 2008 Street Machine of the Year

The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association have named Erv Roller's 1969 Chevy Camaro, known as "RAZOR," as the 2008 Street Machine of the Year.
The Camaro was built by the Ring Brothers of Spring Green, WI, who also built last year's winner, the Reactor Mustang. It is the first time in its 14 year history that the same builder has won two years in a row.
Erv's Camaro features a grey and orange paint job, custom leather interior done by Steve Pearson of Upholstery Unlimited, carbon fiber hood and trunk lid, a Detroit Speed & Engineering Quadralink rear suspension, and custom one-of-a-kind Budnik wheels that are 18 x 10 up front and a massive 19 x 12 in the rear.
Under the hood, it packs an all-aluminum GM ZL1 454 cubic inch big-block mated to a Viper T56 transmission. Exhaust flows through a set of Flowmaster Super 44s.
The other four finalists for this year's award included Kevin Alstott's '68 Camaro, Gary Abraham's '70 Nova, Jeff Hanson's '69 Camaro, and James McLeod's '69 Camaro convertible.
