Been a few months since I've been on the site. To bring everyone up to speed:
In late July I installed a 700R4 tranny in my Camaro. The tranny only lasted a little over a month. I guess a stock 700R4 can't handle a supercharged 350 engine. The torque converter blew up and the tranny is filled with metal shavings. I hope to save up money over the winter and install a 4L80E sometime next year.
This past weekend I sold my 1984 Trans Am. I spend most of the summer swapping out parts with the another '84 TA I have. The TA I kept needs a total resto, but it's nearly rust free so it will be a much better car when it's all done.
So as of right now I have no running "fun" car. Good thing winter is here and I couldn't drive them anyway. I really hope to have one of these cars back on the road by next summer.
