Actually, this is the car I blogged a couple of weeks ago. It's actually my brother Dean's car, but I'm taking care of it for him while he's in the Navy. He came by for a few days last week on his way to basic training to visit me and our folks, and to drop off the car with me. Officially it's now in my dad's name for insurance purposes but also, to make it official, I bought it from him for $1 with the understanding that he can buy it back when he leaves the Navy and can use it whenever he's on leave in the area or if he gets stationed in the area. I'm thrilled that he trusts me with his baby! We've always been close, but he never trusted me to drive this car until just a couple of days ago. He knew that I was in love with it from the day he bought it, too, so I'm so thankful for his trust in me now. I'll take good care if it.
