The 50's .. The temperture more then the year !

It seems day after day the era of the 50's dont live on compared to the modern day. It's sad really , and what is to come for those who want it back? Past is the past and can never be changed yet when i sit in those cars and turn the dial it seems like it never aged. Was i born in the wrong year or what!

- I did grow up during the 50's and 60's and let me tell you, those were the best days of my life. All the cool muscle cars and hot rods cruising from drive-in to drive-in and just sitting in one of the drive-ins and shooting the bull with fellow car lovers. You are so right, those days are gone and will never return, but at least I do have the memories of that era that never will go away.

- i know how you feel, sometimes i feel i was born in the wrong generation, lol. every time i get a close look at a fine classic or have the pleasure of driving near one on the road i seem to get a nostalgic feel for a time i never knew

- I miss the fifties so much and of course you are correct they will never be back. It is a shame, people were friendlier, everyone knew their neighbors by their first name, front yard barbeques were the norm, everyone looked out for those that needed looking after, yeah I miss it too!
