due to non flatness in the intake spacers it was creating a vac leak and eventually cracked the upper intake which made the car not want to idle and run like crap, but for the cheap investment of a propane torch i found the problem and its all fixed.
it runs good and sounds awesome but due to the lame inspection in this state i have to change the muffler for a quiet one since no station will touch the car.

Glad you got to the bottom of the mechanical problem. Maybe you need to go to the extra effort of making a quick change exhaust setup. Little bit of work one time and then you can run the muffler you want all year and just change out for the inspection. Just a thought,
