New transmission and torque converter for our truck.

We dropped our truck off at Henderson Transmission yesterday 11/04/08 and picked it up today 11/05/08. Rick the owner of the shop put in a new transmission and torque converter. The old one still worked well but had some obvious brass pieces in it that should not be there. I had the torque converter done at the same time because I know you can never get all the crap out of the converter any other way.

We are very pleased with the work and to be honest the price was a great deal less then other shops in the area and we really like Rick and trust him.

I posted earlier about our new tail, stop, signal lights I ordered today for the truck. I got LED with stainless steel housings. The old lights are a little dim and we sometimes go to Vegas where you can run into some real traffic.

Take care,
Jerry

Jerry & Mary - I love this truck! I'm sure they were loving it at the trans shop, too. There's nothing that compares to having a place you can trust to care for your classic.
