hi well does anyone know where i can find a tuner chip like a diablo sport tuner tool or a computer chip for my 87 iroc camaro? or is it better to just get a good performance tune from mechanic or something? is this a good order of first mods. brakes,computer chip or tune, exhuast, headers, intake runners, radar detector, then alarm just to start off. thx everyone

- I had a 85 IROC, I put a stage 2 hypertech chip in that car. You have to put a 160 degree thermostat in it. Because chip makes your automatic fan comes on at 176 degrees. It controled autotransmission shifting and engine timing and air. It made the car run better I never regretted do it. There is also a stage 3 chip for more advanced tuning. One more thing there is a stage 1 that you don't have to change thermostat but results are less. I hope this helps! Dennis Parrish

- If you're going to get a chip burned to match your up grades do it last. I'd find a shop that can burn it on the car. That will get you the best possible performance out of it. A shop that can do a dyno tune and burn the chip at the same time is best.
