Just when I am almost done more issues. The clutch will not engage so the transmission will not go in gear. Also hydraulic fluid leaking out the bottom of the bell housing and when I tried to refill it just ran through. Talked to Kiesler and they said the remove the transmission and check measurements on clutch actuator. So I have the exhaust dropped, and am working on getting the transmission out so I can measure settings on Keisler hydraulic clutch setup. After that I either get to add spacers to fix the issue or get a new hydraulic clutch actuator mechanism.

Man I wish I had a lift or a pit to do this work!

I finished installing the 1968 Mustang updated American Autowire kit. I have never done wiring before and the kit made it as easy as I guess it could be. I spent about 50hrs getting the old wiring out, planning the new wire runs and pulling and crimping the new wiring. The labeled wiring makes it pretty easy. I learned that good grounds are important to make it all work and that a multimeter is your best friend when rewiring a whole car. I used sequential led tail lights and HID headlights and they both look excellent. Hope to be driving this to shows in July.

I have to figure out next why my Keisler hydraulic clutch is leaking, how to get my Autometer VSS speedometer to clear the transmission mount, and get a neutral safety switch pigtail for the TKO500 transmission.

I have the American Autowire kit for 1968 stang in hand and will plan on starting to run it soon. Hope I have not bitten off more than I can chew. Also added HID light kit to make it more complicated. Sould be interesting so I will keep you all posted on the experience and end result. Don't hold your breath this could be a slow process.

Project 357M finally getting close to being done with all the paint work complete. Exhaust install and custom drive shaft this week or next, then just the little stuff to finish up. Hopefully will make debut at the July 10-11 MCA Mustang Roundup
