12:00 PM - "Corvettes at Carlisle" presented the Star Spangled 'Vette American Flag Display - an American Flag made entirely of Corvettes as a tribute to both the American Dream and the Sports Car - 155 Corvettes (57 red, 51 white, 35 blue, 10 silver and 2 gold)
1:30 PM - Ceremony at the Grandstand with aerial photos and video.
3:30 PM - Flag roll out
The 2010 edition of the Corvettes at Carlisle is sure to be remembered for having one of the most unusual and exciting displays of Corvettes ever presented to the public: the red, white, blue, silver and gold Corvettes came together to create a dramatic, unique American flag design. A portion of the proceeds from the American Flag Corvette Display and donations throughout the event raised almost $5,000 for Homes for Our Troops, a national non-profit organization committed to helping those who have served their country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries.
