A sad loss for Michael Holley

By FirebirdFest

If you've been to any Car Shows on the East Coast lately, you know that beautiful white 4th gen with the red dragons on the side and the custom bird on the Ram Air hood. It's unmistakable and stunningly beautiful...and now it's gone.

Michael Holley was involved in an accident on his way home from Trans Am Nationals on Sunday afternoon...you can read about the story here.

yeah,my baby is down, but she is not out. dragonbird will rise again! the body is basically gonna be a heinz 57 (some from her some from another bird or 2) but her heart still beats strong! mike started her up the other day and she's still roaring like the intimidating beast she is smile image to hear her run you wouldn't know she was in a wreck. me and mike are still sad but are eternally grateful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for having his protective hand upon us. especially me since i was in the passenger seat! as far as who got blamed....mike got full blame for the accident, even though the other guy was in a turning lane but desided to go straight. he didn't give a signal or anything! the cop told mike that the other guy don't have to give a signal. well in tennessee if your gonna be changing lanes or directions you gotta give a signal. of coarse everyone even the claims adjuster told us that it was because we are from out of state that mike got the full blame.

What an awful loss. My heart goes out to Michael. I hope the idiot that caused this was insured... Heavily!

I'm glad no one was injured. That's the important thing.
