Nate... I know I've told you this stuff in person already... but we at TZC/THSCC are very sorry that this happened to your car. Thankfully, you and your instructor came away unscathed (and looking at the pictures, in pretty good spirits!). For everyone else... yes, track events can be dangerous, and have some pretty serious consequences if something goes wrong. All indications are that this incident was one of those freak things that should not have happened. It was very cold over the weekend reducing the grip on the track anyway... and there seemed to be an inordinate amount of cars losing fluid of some sort. We can only speculate to the cause, but had it happened anywhere else on the track, it would have been a non-event. The wall at that section is just so close to the track. Nate did everything he was supposed to do, but was simply along for the ride. Hope to see you back out there soon buddy!
