I have been kicking it around and am having a hard time deciding rather i would want to plop a Small block chevy or a Big block chevy between the fenders of my Trans Am. The Small block would be a salty 350 with a tiny bit north of 400 ponies, but the big block would be scratchin at 600 pissed off horses (396 punched out to 434). I still have the original 400 in the garage and some day i will re do it and set back in there, but i was wondering what yall thought of settin a Chevy in my old 'Bird? Oh and if it helps any if i decide to plop the 350 in my Trans Am my chevelle is getting the big block! Either way i will probably re-route the exhaust to kick out in front of my rear tires (i dunno why but i love the idea)

Easy one for me - The T/A is supposed to be the better handler of the two, so it should get the lighter small block. The Chevelle is more of a straight-line stormer, so the big block belongs there. Don'tcha love pure logic? scratchchin image

I wouldn't have a problem with a Chevy engine going in, my old boss in Ohio almost had me talked into putting a 390 Ford in mine!
