My tail pipes are rusted all to hell and are becoming a pain in the neck. Would it hurt to rip them off? Im leaving the muffler on. Once i get money im replacing all the exhaust with either stainless piping or galvanized steel.ad having my headers ceramic coated.

- It shouldn't be a problem as far as driving the truck goes. However, here in Pennsylvania there's no way it would pass state inspection with the exhaust system in that condition. I'd say go ahead and take the rusty pipe section off, but replace it as soon as you can afford to do it.

- Just make sure the rear of the Muffler is supported via a clamp. Be aware of exhaust fumes now under the car

- I order pipe bends from Summit then cut and weld it together the way I want it. I always use aluminized pipe...looks good and works good.
