We have been watching the match between Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro in recent weeks. A 3.7 liter V-6 is coming in 2001 for Mustang.
For says the combo of the new V-6 and a six speed transmission will beat all others.

- You know I do Love Mustangs, an I especially Love the Retro Look, but 3.7 liter, how can I get excited over that when antiques had 7 liter engines? More would be impressive, not less. And, while you at it why not run her on Alcohol, the way Henry wanted it, everything to help the Farmers, not those Crude Oil based Synthetic's either, but pore Moonshine; a plastic car run on Alcohol. (the plastic of course being Soybean Resin with Hemp Fibers, remember that trunk lid Henry use to beat with an Axe to show how strong his plastics were). Henry had a H*** of a formula for helping America, we could use that Ford.

- When will they put the 351's back into production. Forget the little dinkey 302's. Thats like GM ditching the 350 and using a 305. But both have crazy awsome V-6's

- Whoa! That is a big V6! I can only imagine what the GT is gonna have under the hood! I take a guess and say it gonna have a 400+ hp version of it's current 4.6. Or even better, maybe Ford will squeeze their new 6.2 V8 in to the Mustang!
