- Hey, Bob. Some great information and background on the Batmobile. I knew Barris originally constructed the car, but I didn't know the finer details that you outline, regarding its full-sized functional concept car status, and how it ultimately got into Barris' hands. I fondly remember being a kid and watching the show, just waiting for any scene involving the car. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing. Jim
