Hot Rod Power Tour was fun last week BUT this was sad indeed!

By Shaker

Florida man killed in head on collision on Hwy 69 near Moundville in his vintage 1969 Camaro...

Guys, be careful !!! This lady was passing on a 2 lane going over the crest of a hill and hit the man and his son head-on!

Hard to understand why anyone would pass in a no passing zone.

I'll post photos of the Power Tour later.

stupid stuff like this is usually caused by people who see cars as an appliance. yea the ford escape will be totalled out and sent to the crusher and the owner will just pay the deductable and its no loss to them. but that kind of attitude makes people lose sight of the fact that they are moving around a 4000 pound vehicle and every decision that they make can effect someone or something greatly. When you get behind the wheel of that car your reponsible for you, your passengers, and everyone else on the road. This is a case where the woman made a bad choice and decided to pass in a no passing zone going up a hill and ended up taking out a beautiful camaro and 3 other cars and also taking the life of someone's father. I don't know what they do to drivers in other states but in Nebraska we slap a charge of vehicular manslaughter and they lose their liscence for life, its our form of dealing with stupidity. I think this woman deserves the same. My condolenses go out to the family its sad to lose two loves, a father, and a car.
