hydraulic clutch

Filed under: 1961 Chevrolet Corvair (Bessie)

Today I painted and Installed the parts for the slave cylinder for my hydraulic clutch. It took a little fabricating and creative (redneck) engineering, but it is done. Next is setting up the master cylinder and running the lines. I am hoping that I will need less than 12 feet because i think then I will only need one connection between the two cylinders.

I have only heard of bad things in regards to clutch cables, and growing up in a predominantly cold area, I really don't want to strand myself in snow or at night...plus...I've never heard/seen it done before...at least not on a vair :-D
