I will check out your pictures, blogs, albums, friends, or what ever else you can send messages to be to "check out" on my own accord. I spend most of my time on motortopia filtering through my inbox deleting messages of this sort.
I have probably missed messages that contained actual content the I might have been interested in, but in the mess known as my inbox, it got deleted, marked as read, or some other thing that made it not catch my eye.
If anybody has sent me a message that qualifies as one from the paragraph above, I am sorry I didn't respond.
And for the ones who send me the other messages, I don't want to to look at your stuff....I will look at what I want....I am capable of searching for what I want to look for....
I just wanted to say my piece.

Thank you for the great post and I am glad you posted here on Motortopia. Maybe you could help us have a discussion on Motortopia in one of the forums so we could have this in a wider discussion with all Motortopia members. Would you like to do that?
In any event, this has prompted some internal discussion here and we are discussing several ways to deal with it. If you start a forum discussion then we can post these various internal ideas and discuss with the wider Motortopia community.
If you do that, let me know. If you would like me to help you get that started with you, let me know that as well.
Again, our aim here at Motortopia is to be the very best online site we can be for motor enthusiasts.
