- I looked into it. A trans from a local Junkyard is almost 400 dollars.

- Start looking on craigslist for used tranny and engine. Don't you have pick & pull salvage yards in Oh. Here I can get the engine or tranny of my choice at the pick & pull for $200. Just look for the ones that are wrecked, theory would reason that they were running when they were stopped abruptly. Just check them over real good for evidence of damage.
