Motortopia Is Begining To Really Piss Me Off!
Jul 7, 2012 | Views: 358
I just spent over an hour typing up my update in great detail and when I went to publish it, it vanished! Motortopia logged me off! They can't/won't update the main page so I guess they don't want us to update ours! I'll try to update it later, but not right now!

- Hi guys/gals, wanted to let you know about Carponents.com, a brand new site for the automotive enthusiast community. Sorry about your troubles here. I suggest you try Carponents since it is free to join and use. Carponents is very new and still in the early phases but looking for people like you to be part of the initial core community. In addition to connecting with other enthusiasts, sharing info/interests, and posting photos, there is an events list that you can post events to automatically, groups to create/join, a question and answer section, blogs, classifieds, and more. Automotive businesses can create a free business account that will be added to the directory and searchable by the users. A ton of more features will be coming and the site will be streamlined over the next couple months to provide the best user experience. Carponents is very open to suggestions from the user community for what features they would like to see and you can use the "contact us" link at the bottom of the site to give your feedback and ideas. I think you will like what Carponents is doing, and if you do please spread the word and help build the best automotive enthusiast community on the web! http://www.carponents.com/

- Thanks for responding! It seems like lately I'm the only one that's keeping his page updated regularly. Whoever is running Motortopia must be on a summer-long vacation. The main page hasn't been updated since April! What's up with that???

- This isn't the first time this %$#@ has happened to me! But this time I think I could've gotten a pulizer for the journal I had typed up! LOL!

- I've had the samething happen to me a number of times. It's gotten so that I hardly ever blog anything. Photo albums sre the same way. I post some pics and finalize the album, then go back and "Edit" some more into it until I've posted everything. Then I gop back and caption them a few at a time too, until the captions are all entered. This way I don't lose anything. I've found that if I'm working on anything any more than about 15 minutes at a time, Motortopia goes down and I lose everything I've been working on. One thing that has helped me in the past is to make sure I check off the keep me logged in block when I log on.
