Well Yesterday I started Installing my new parts that I have been waiting so long for. First step was to pull the tarp off my car and get it back in my gradge where it belongs. After spending a little time cleaning everything up I decided to install the new turbo direct from garrett (No more modded turbos to break for me).

The new turbo is a Garrett VNT 17/22 and it has a slightly larger compressor housing than the last. After I got it bolted in and the oil lines hooked up I started taking measurements to see how i need to bend a new intercooler line since the outlet is much different on this model compaired to the others i have had on the car.

Now its time to pull the valve cover off and see what needs to be done to install the new PD150 injectors from Bosch. Now these injectors are sock on the Euro models so it should be a nice improvement in power without loosing any reliabliaty. Now I just want to say that i have not been able to find any instructions or people that could give me advice with this mod so i am keeping my fingers crossed. The injectors sit under the valve cover inside the head and are actuated by the cam via a rocker arm setup. I need to go buy some new tools today to put them in due to the 12 point T bit required.

I am posting pick of the install so far and I will update them over the next couple of days so everyone can see the progress. I am hoping for about 240hp and 360ftlbs ant the wheels with the new mods. stock is rated at 100hp and 177ftlbs. I have seen the car put down 139hp and 244ftlbs with only a tune and exaust a couple of years ago so this should be a nice change. I am also hoping to see my fuel eco stay close to the 52mpg HWY and 38 city I have gotten used to but only time will tell.
